The Brad Reckling 2nd Annual
Comedy for a Cause

The Roxy in Rochester Hills is proud to honor the memory of our dear friend, Deputy Brad Reckling, whose life and service left a lasting mark on all who knew him.

With the heartfelt blessing of Brad’s wife, Jackie, The Roxy has once again partnered with the Family Benevolent Fund to carry forward Brad’s legacy—not only by remembering him, but by supporting the families of fellow first responders in our community who are facing profound hardship.

This tribute is more than a gesture—it's a powerful reminder that Brad's spirit of service and compassion lives on through acts of kindness and solidarity with those who continue to sacrifice so much.

Officer Kyle Kreger
Madison Heights Police Department

Officer Kyle Kreger, a devoted 10-year veteran of the Madison Heights Police Department, passed away on September 13th, 2025, after a courageous and unwavering battle with brain cancer.

Throughout his decade of service, Kyle exemplified the very best of law enforcement—serving with honor, integrity, and compassion. His commitment to protecting others and making a difference in his community left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

But above all, Kyle’s proudest role was being a husband and father. He deeply loved his wife, Renee, and their three daughters, Hailey, Hannah, and Brooke. Whether he was cheering from the sidelines, sharing life lessons, or simply being a steady, loving presence—Kyle poured his heart into every moment with his girls. He was their hero, protector, and role model, and the legacy of love he built with them will endure forever.

Officer Kreger gave selflessly to his community, even in the face of unimaginable personal hardship. Now, it’s time for us to give back—to honor his memory by standing beside the family he loved so fiercely.

Officer Nick Kott
Warren Police Department

Officer Nick Kott, a dedicated 13-year veteran of the Warren Police Department, suffered a life-altering injury in a tragic hunting accident on November 17th, 2024. The accident left him with critical neck injuries, requiring an emergency airlift to the University of Michigan. There, he underwent surgery on his C3–C6 vertebrae—a procedure that marks the beginning of a long and challenging journey of recovery and rehabilitation.

Nick is not only a devoted officer but also a loving husband and father. By his side through this difficult time are his wife Holli, an elementary school teacher in their local community, and their 7-year-old son Jack, who is Nick’s greatest joy. A passionate outdoorsman, Nick has always cherished time spent hunting and fishing with Jack, and his greatest hope is to one day return to those moments with his son.

In addition to being a family man and public servant, Nick is an avid athlete with a deep love for hockey and baseball. The injuries he sustained have demanded extensive medical care and placed a significant emotional and financial strain on his family.

Officer Kott has given so much to his community—and now, in this time of need, it’s our turn to stand beside him.
